The loves of my life!!!
This was Saturday, the 9th...at the Brick Pond. I didn't even know it existed...as previously mentioned (a few days ago?), one of my sisters from Alabama came into town. We decided to walk around this Brick Pond (I'm guessing they really struggled with the name, as I saw no sign of brick anywhere, just dirt roads and pond :)), and it was soooo hot, but it was nice. They had a covered bridge over part of the pond, we saw small alligators, some turtles, fish (obviously), and this neat little thing called a snake-bird. I do not know if this is the actual name, and it kept going underwater each time I tried to take a pic, but it does look like both a snake and a bird. Its head and neck is like a snake, and it has a duck's butt. Yep, go ahead and laugh, and think about it, bc it does exist. Not joking, it's like a snake and a duck procreated...just saying...it's neat looking though. The kids got a kick out of that. Anyway, we had to catch a few shots of the Brick Pond, and then we left. Oh, and in the pic, Rianna and Gage are sitting on a carving of an alligator. Cute! Not as cute as the Alligator Farm in St. Augustine, but we aren't in St. Augustine, now are we?!
